❓ How do I use PhotoCleaner?

PhotoCleaner uses simple swipe gestures:

â€ĸ Swipe UP: Delete photo (adds to deletion queue)
â€ĸ Swipe DOWN: Favorite photo
â€ĸ Swipe LEFT/RIGHT: Navigate to next/previous photo

Photos you swipe up are queued for deletion and can be reviewed before permanent deletion.

❓ Can I recover deleted photos?

Yes! Deleted photos go to your iPhone's "Recently Deleted" album for 30 days:

1. Open the Photos app
2. Go to Albums tab
3. Scroll to "Recently Deleted"
4. Select photos you want to recover
5. Tap "Recover"

Important: After 30 days, photos are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

💡 Pro Tip: Always backup your photos to iCloud or another service before organizing your library!

❓ How do I restore my purchases?

If you've purchased Pro and it's not showing:

1. Open PhotoCleaner
2. Tap the info icon (â„šī¸) in the top right
3. Scroll down and tap "Restore Purchases"

Or from the paywall screen, tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom.

❓ How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple:

1. Open iPhone Settings
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap "Subscriptions"
4. Find PhotoCleaner
5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

You'll continue to have Pro access until the end of your billing period.

❓ Does PhotoCleaner upload my photos?

No! Never! Your photos stay on your device at all times:

â€ĸ All photo processing happens locally on your iPhone
â€ĸ AI features (Pro) also run on-device
â€ĸ We only collect anonymous usage statistics (number of photos reviewed, etc.)
â€ĸ Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or any cloud service

Pro subscription includes:

❓ Do I get a free trial?

Yes! New subscribers get a 7-day free trial of Pro.

You can cancel anytime during the trial period to avoid being charged. If you don't cancel, your subscription will automatically start when the trial ends.

❓ Can I use PhotoCleaner on multiple devices?

Yes! Your Pro subscription works on all iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) signed in with the same Apple ID.

Simply install PhotoCleaner on your other device and tap "Restore Purchases" to activate Pro.

❓ Why am I limited to 50 photos per month on Free?

The Free plan allows you to try PhotoCleaner with 50 photo reviews per month. This helps us cover server costs for analytics and features.

Upgrade to Pro for unlimited reviews and AI-powered features to organize your entire library!

❓ The app crashed or froze. What should I do?

Try these steps:

1. Force quit the app (swipe up from bottom and swipe app away)
2. Restart your iPhone (hold power button, slide to power off)
3. Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
4. Check if you have enough storage space (Settings → General → iPhone Storage)

If the issue persists, email us at support@photocleaner.ch with:

❓ How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not PhotoCleaner:

Method 1: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
Method 2: Contact Apple Support

Apple typically processes refund requests within 48 hours. We cannot process refunds directly as all payments go through Apple's App Store.
